Audi Fun Facts

The luxury car manufacturer is a member of the Volkswagen Group and was founded over a century ago. It is now produced in nine factories throughout the world. With models like the S5, A7, and A6 being popular throughout the world, Audi has made a name for itself in the luxury car space.

The term Audi, which means “hear” in Latin, was coined from the founder’s surname, and the four rings of the logo represent the four companies of the Auto Union. While gray and silver colors remain popular, C9A/LC9A Pure White has increasingly become the color of choice among Audi customers in recent times.

Manufacturer’s tags tend to have a lot of different information on them, not all of which is relevant. You will see a variety of codes on their tag, but the one to look for will be next to the heading “PAINT NO.” This can be located roughly halfway down the sticker on the left-hand side.

Our Customer Reviews

A.W. from Washington DC, ordered Ice Silver Metallic LX7W for his Audi SQ5 and shared: I know in Customer service you don’t always receive kudos, so I wanted to send some over! I know it’s difficult when dealing with a product that can have a lot of variation or user error like automotive paints. I recently ordered a kit for some touchup on my car. Some nicks had begun to develop with rust. After a quick search ERA (Paints) was one of the first options I came across. Not to mention the product came super fast.

Your touchup and clearcoat kit was a perfect match for my 8 year old hatchback. I appreciated the supplies (and extra brushes) and the thorough instructions. I was pretty nervous about making a repair like this, but the results were incredible. 600 grit sandpaper and your kit are a great combo!

We pride ourselves on quality products, competitive prices and outstanding customer satisfaction.
